Under the device care section, mine always says "good" until I optimise it, then it changes to "great", but I zed on my mind phone that hers seems to always say "great", without optimising it. Is there need for me to be concerned about mine?

There is no cause for concern. Generally, if there are apps open in the background, it shows Good, and the Optimise now button is enabled. During optimisation, it closes all apps, except the last used app, and changes the status to Great.
