So I recently bought a s23+ about 4-5 months ago now, it was running perfectly fine when I first had it however after a few months it appears to have started corrupting my photos in my gallery, this is happening on a daily basis at this point I've tried everything I can think of to fix this. I'm unable to factory reset the device either because I have no way to back up everything on my newer phone. I'm not sure what to do. The images/files appear to delete themselves after a few minutes. I really am unsure what to do.

What is the total storage capacity of your device? Have you any storage available?

Would it possibly be to do with OneDrive? Have you got photo upload turned on in the Gallery settings?

I've had the same thing happen on my laptop because the OneDrive storage capacity was low. I couldn't even see photoso on my laptop because of that.

@ImBunnyFeng: Were the photos captured using the stock camera app? Further to the troubleshooting suggestion above, please can you also swipe up from your Home screen and head to the Samsung folder > My Files > Images, and check to see if the images are intact in this location?

Not from onedrive, however they were mostly copied from my old phone

I'm unsure of this, as the corrupt files I've been deleting however they never actually show up in my recycle bin, most of my images are copied from my old Samsung phone

Which method did you use to copy your photo's over @ImBunnyFeng

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
