Contacts on s23 ultra

Hi everyone - need some help...

Just upgraded to a Samsung s23 ultra from a Samsung s9. I transferred everything using smart switch and everything transferred across, including my contacts. 

The problem I'm now having is that when anyone calls, even from my contacts, they are coming up as unknown.

Appreciate any advice.

Can you firstly go into your phone app, Settings, other Call Settings, then make sure 'Show Caller information' is showing.

Then, exit the settings and in the Phone app click on 'Contacts' at the bottom, click on the 3 dots on the right, 'Manage Contacts', then 'Sync Contacts'.

Did you you change sim provider?

No - I have sorted thanks to everyone- support advised me but now I can't get back on to the text to put on here.

I have found it...
So I was advised to power down my phone then restart.
Go into settings>contacts>storage>clear data. Then I got my daughter to call and her name came up.
Hope this helps anyone else.

Have another problem...anyone with the s23..is their Samsung wallet working as mine keeps saying it cannot open and try again later...

I have just got a bran new samsung s23 ultra, in a sealed box,and after I transferred all from my old phone I had someone else's contacts on it besides mine,I'm from Yorkshire,the contacts were from Derbyshire, they all looked quite personal numbers
