I have noticed since I did an update few days back the charging is taking much longer.

For example, my phone had around 21% and when I initially plugged in it said charge would take 1hr 6 mins, its now been 1hr 6 mins and charge is at 87%

It says superfast charger connected when I look at battery. The phone and charger came together from currys and the superfast charge has always been fine up until this update.

Any advice?

Hey there

Were you using the device whilst it was being charged?

Does that amount of time seem right? To go from 21% to 85%??

If you were using the screen even if only for a few minutes, then it will affect the charge rate.

So yes, looks about right.

Are you sure because it said 1hr 6 when I first plugged in and I only went to check at like 20 mins at how charge was going. It did say superfast charger plugged in.

I swear it used to charge quicker before the update??

If you've used the device whilst it was charging then of course it will take a little longer.

How long would you say 1% to 100% should take if I do not use

My S24 Ultra takes about 1 hour 15 using my Samsung 45w charger and Samsung cable.

This assumes the device is not touched and the screen is off.

The only other thing I'm wondering is whether you have Battery Protection turned on (this slows charging down beyond 80% to protect the battery).
