Hi im having problems with charging my S23 my charger only works if connected to my phone one way and the reverse of the charger won't work so it will only charge 1 way so one end is connected to my plug then the end that connects to the phone won't work universally only the 1 way

Please explain in more detail.
I will guess you are using a USB C to USB C lead.
It is possible it is a one way lead. Or could be damaged at one end.
Does it fast charge?
As previously advised try a different lead.
The USB C plug is also used for other types of connections (Thunderbolt).

Could you use a torch to look inside the port to see if there's any debris inside. 

Also try > Usb reset.

Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.
