Charging phone over night

Is it OK to leave your phone charging overnight and if you can will it cause any problems doing it.

I have done for years.
I use a Samsung charger and turn off fast charging.
With a Samsung charger, once full it stops charging anyway

I had to buy my own charger as it did not come with my Samsung galaxy S23 ultra and its not official Samsung one ,its a Belkin one

@Darren88  Yes it should be fine,whilst have not used Belkin they seem to have a mechanism to prevent overcharging too.  Best to ensure there  is sufficient ventilation though.  some advice in this article https://www.androidauthority.com/leave-phone-plugged-overnight

I've never had any issues over the years charging my phone this way.

The phone will only draw what it needs and then once full will stop and only trickle charge to keep the battery to full.

I use normal charging on a Samsung Wireless Charging pad.

Belkin are a well known trusted manufacturer so you'll be fine as long as it's a genuine version.

If you leave it for a long while at maximum charge overnight, it's probably wise to enable protect battery. I would recommend using this option if you leave your phone on charge overnight regularly.
