Hi,

On the latest ONE UI 6.1, secure folder cannot be uninstalled. A message appears saying if this keeps happening, contact customer service. There are other people who are facing the same issue on twitter

Made a quick account just to comment.
This little annoying bug has been bugging me (pun intended) since the UI update.

Like most users, I quite literally exhausted all ordinary methods and options. Nothing worked. Literally. Nothing. Our attempts seemed futile.
Galaxy store yielded no results.
Manage apps wasn't available. Uninstall updates via galaxy store was greyed out, etc etc.

A previous user mentioned using ES File Explorer. I currently use Solid Explorer premium, APK manager and a couple of other apps. Thought to myself, "well why didn't I think of that?!" But, neither of those options worked.

Went ahead and grabbed ES File Explorer Premium and the light shined brightly through the clouds, followed by "Hallelujah, Hallelujah" chanting, much like in commercials and cartoons.

And sure enough, the uninstall option was right there. I pressed it. What happened next was shocking:
"Secure Folder Uninstalled."

Use it.
It works.
100%.
10/10 would recommend.

TLDR: Use ES File Explorer (standard or premium). The uninstall option works.
TLDR 2: By premium, I mean freemium. Search engines are your best friend, for newcomers seeking that particular path.

This worked for me as well, I guess there's a trigger on the playstore side. Assuming, that Samsung cant remove the data so it just bombs out until it's removed elsewhere. Either way, playstore > manage apps > delete secure folder > settings > secure folder > more settings > uninstall

That's the beauty of having an Android too.  We have the opportunity and can typically fix issues ourselves. As well as having the freedom of using third party apps and software however we see fit.

Idk how anybody could choose otherwise. Imagine the helplessness iOS users would've felt lol.

*pinky lifts in the air while sipping name brand kool-aid*

But I digress. That's another topic for another day 😂
