Anche io ho questo problema

Hi everyone, I have a problem since I updated my s23 phone to One UI 7.0. When I use apps to play media and the playback appears in the notification section, sometimes when I try to pull down the notification shade, it starts glitching - several icons overlap, and the phone completely freezes, even though everything keeps running in the background. If I try turning the screen off and on again, nothing changes because it's like the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. The only solution is to restart the phone. I'd like to know if I'm the only one experiencing this issue and

when it will be fixed.

Hi @Prodavidix, welcome back to our Community.

Considering the anomaly you are experiencing on your device, I suggest you to proceed with a system Wipe cache partition, following the steps below:

  • Turn off the phone
  • Verify the USB connector is used, for example by plugging it into a PC
  • Hold down the Power and Volume Up key
  • When Samsung appears, release only the Power key
  • When the blue screen appears, also release the Volume Up key
  • In the next screen there will be many items: move with the Volume Up or Volume Down key to select "wipe cache partition"
  • Confirm this choice with the Power key
  • Move to the "Yes" item and confirm again
  • Finally, place on the "reboot system now" item and confirm.

I would like to reassure you that this operation will not delete any personal data, however, all those obsolete system cache files that may somehow generate momentary malfunctions will be deleted.

Keep me updated, I remain available.

Have a nice day!

Hi, I cleared the cache as suggested, but unfortunately the issue happened again today. The multimedia notification duplicated itself and caused glitches in both the notification bar and the phone interface. I was still able to open the multitasking view and access the notification panel, and I could unlock the phone with the fingerprint sensor. However, aside from that, the phone became completely unresponsive. I tried closing the app that was playing media, but that didn’t resolve the issue. The only thing that worked was performing a reboot.

Ciao @Prodavidix

thank you for the feedback provided with the result of the recommended procedure.

In this case, it is necessary to perform a backup of the data and then restore it to factory conditions.

This will resolve any conflicts that may have arisen during the installation of the update.

To support you in these operations, I suggest you view the following links:

Backup: https://www.samsung.com/it/support/apps-services/metodi-pour-execure-il-backup-e-il-restauro-dei-dat...
Restore: https://www.samsung.com/it/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-delete-all-of-my-personal-information-fro...

After the restore, you will need to reconfigure your device without immediately importing the backup.

In this way, conflicts can be ruled out.

Let me know if you fix it.

Bye!

Hi @Prodavidix, thank you for the details.

Once you restored the device, did you immediately enter the data from the previous backup? Or did you test the phone in optimal conditions, without entering any previously made backups?

Does this glitch occur only with the Spotify app or with different music playback apps?

Is the Spotify app updated to the latest version available?

Keep me updated, I remain at your disposal.

Have a nice day!

Hi, I imported only the media and the app from the backup immediately after the factory reset. I didn't back up the settings. The issue occurred not only with Spotify, but also with other playback apps. It even affected the Samsung Health bar, not just the playback apps.

Hi @Prodavidix,

thank you for the details. 😊

Could you test the phone without any data? You should not install any apps and test without data to better understand the situation. If the issue persists, I suggest you file a bug report with our internal team.

• Open the pre-installed Samsung Members app
• Go to Support
• Select Report an error

You will need to provide a detailed description of the issue and attach the system log data, checking the box next to "Send system log data" and then selecting "Always."

This will allow our Research and Development team to investigate the issue by analyzing the system log data and providing you with feedback as quickly as possible.

Keep me updated, I remain at your disposal. 🤝

Have a nice day
