Even though you have Battery Saving Mode activated that's still impressive @sarasphotobox  👌

I'm enjoying my Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra too 👍

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Should I turn battery protection on? What's everyone's thoughts

I think Battery protection is ideal to use if you really want to keep your phone more than 2 years. If you upgrade every year or 2 years, I myself don't think you need it turned on. But obviously if you want to use battery protect to help battery health then use it. I personal prefer not to, as the extra 15% goes quite far for me. Also with it turned on I'm charging more often then I do when it's turned off. I just don't let my phone go below 15%, my ideal percent I charge at tends to be 20%.
