As per the dialogue on that page
Keeping your battery at a full 100% charge for a long time can reduce its lifespan. Choose an option below to protect your battery and make it last longer.

We coped before the UI 6.1 update but i welcome this extra layer of protection. Mine's on Basic and I'll change it as and when needed.

I only discovered it this week I updated it last week not liking the batteru drain
