I recently upgraded from my S21+ to the S23FE due to my battery needing charging 2 times a day, however I have noticed that my new phone battery is draining far quicker than my old one. I can go to bed with 100% and wake up in the morning with it on 85% I'm losing around 10% per hour during the day on minimum usage. This is a brand new phone I've not even had 2 weeks yet. Has anybody else had the same sort of issue?

Upon setting up the phone, did you set up from new or transfer from old device? Sometimes using smartswitch to transfer apps can cause issues. I find it's always best to transfer just important data. Apps are best downloaded from the stores. With the phone being new, it's also got to learn your usage pattern, so it may not be the best battery performance until it's learnt your usage patterns.

I did smart switch but it half failed so I ended up downloading more than half my apps manually. I've looked on Google and there is a lot of problems around one UI6 draining batteries.

@strebor1991 it can take a few weeks for the learning phase to end on a new phone.

Take a look in your Device Care Section under Battery to see what's using your battery.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
