For the overheating- remember- the weather is getting hotter. Is the phone actively having issues in terms of being slow, or crashing? The phones are designed to handle higher temps

Make sure Auto Blocker is off in settings- security and privacy.

Go to settings- home screen- app size and change then how big/ small you want
Ps * a lot of changes are due to Android 15- aka google- aka all Android devices. Most other options can be altered
