Hi. After reading all these issues, I feel this issue is for all Samsung S23 Ultra devices. My device is also having the same issue. Even though it's under battery saver mode, the battery still drains quite fast. This only started happening after the latest update. I feel like Samsung's reputation is at stake. Maybe they will do something about this issue.

They've ignored us for months, Samsung isn't a company that actually cares. They want to force you into buying a new phone.

Clear your cache for google/youtube or reset your phone to factory default.
Resetting to factory default cleared up my battery issue.
It is an absolute shame that NO ONE from Samsung acknowledged the issues in this thread or guided customers towards a solution.

Do you mean by battery issue just charging speed or also battery life?
I also did a wipe cache reset and it didn't help so I'm not sure if a factory reset would do

When you factory reset, did you restore with smart switch/add anything back or fully clean?

I suggest yiu try clearing the app cache first before proceeding with a factory reset. But yes it was a full data wipe. I should have tried backup but I manually reconfigured my phone.
This is my recommendation to first try..
1. Clear or delete the apps cache ( Google and yiutube apps and any high power draining apps.
If that does not work then..
2. Factory reset and wipe phone to factory default, and restore from backup.
All else fails proceed to..
3. Full data wipe and reset to factory default, then manually reconfigure phone.
Note: back up your data and save any important files on your phone before proceeding with any phone resets. Not all data is backed up by backup apps. Good luck.

This really shouldn't be necessary, I think Samsung should be able to solve it with a software fix. For example, after the 6.1 update a notification popped up that say "hey, I made this video collage with videos I found on your phone" (or something) and proceeded to play an edited mix of my dogs playing with some music it had added. Who asked it to do that? It had obviously been running something in the background and that's where I think this problem arises - they have tried to be too clever stuffing "AI" into the system and that is using power. I feel it has been better since the 1 May 2024 security patch, but it still on some days drain extraordinarily quickly. They must provide a way to disable whatever they have added.

After the May 2024 security patch my battery seem to hold out longer, but it has been dramatic over the past week. I need to charge my phone 2-3 times per day. It has become a real concern as I constantly need to make sure I have enough charge for when I am leaving the house, and need to make sure I have a charger with me if I am out overnight or whatever. Absolutely sh*tballs, and Samsung never updated me on the report I logged. I am hoping that 6.2 will fix things, but that could take a long time before that is released. My biggest frustration is with Samsung denying something is wrong when clearly something is not right.
