Hello,
Recently my phone has been repaired, and I've lost all the notes. I'm not sure how. I had the backup set, I believe.
Moreover, I have Google Photos to back-up pictures but unfortunately there is no way to restore pictures back. The pictures are saved on Google Photos but can't be restored back by simply clicking a button.
I don't know how to save documents or folders that aren't pictures either. I can't find any option on Google Drive or on Samsung Cloud. There is nothing mentioning "documents". Anyone that can help in regard to an option that allows me to restore pictures and documents?
Many thanks
Stefano

Do you see documents and files on Google drive? Images can be downloaded/copied back from Google Photos to your device

In Google Photos, click the photo you wish to have back on your phone, press three dots then hit download.

Assuming you were using here but Samsung Notes need to either be synced to OneDrive or Samsung Cloud. You need to do this via the Samsung Notes app itself by pressing three lines, click gear icon then toggle on to Sync with Samsung Cloud or sign into OneDrive. If you didn't do this before the reset then they won't have been synced to restore.

With documents I think you also need to sync these with Google Drive or one drive. You need to go to MyFiles, click three dots then settings and toggle on whatever option you want.

I'd like to subscribe to a cloud service that allows me to download all the backup pictures and data and once, not going picture by pictures like GoogleDrive.

I think Samsung Notes also gives the Google drive option?

No, Samsung Notes only does One Drive or Samsung Cloud.

I'd recommend doing a back up on SmartSwitch on PC/Laptop, if needed again, as it'll back up a lot of data without the need toggling settings via phone apps. Then you can just restore your data when the phone has been reset.

Samsung Notes only syncs to Samsung Cloud, Microsoft One Note, and Outlook on the web. Did you have that set up?1716767903223_1716767903215_0.jpg

I'm not sure. Is there any cloud service that allows downloading all the pictures at once when the phone needs to be restores? With Google Photos, you need to do it one by one or day by day. I think idrive allows everything to be downloaded at once, like iCloud, with a background restore of all pictures and data.

I use Google One for backups. £1.59 per month for 100GB.
