App doesnt go deep sleep mode

I have this Homeview app used for my security canera. I set it to deep sleeping mode but it doesnt go sleep mode. When i use mobile data expecially it drains ny battery i can see evident on battery app. Is there anyway to put apps beyond deep sleep mode so it doesnt run in the background?

Does the app in question need to be running due to it being for a security camera @Muhib 

Perhaps this is somehow written into it's code or preference settings  !

The sleep and deep sleep mode are the only available options on your phone.

Security apps need to be run constantly to monitor your security otherwise they are pretty useless.

I'm getting the same with the Homeview app, having to force stop it each time I use it otherwise its draining the battery.

I know people are saying it's because it's a security app but the same doesn't happen on my ring or blink app and this issue has only started since the move to s23 ultra from s21 ultra.

Yeah i noticed it doesn't happen when on wifi. But as soon as im outside my housing using mobile data thats when i notice the app creeps up showing 5% usage each hour or so. I still don't think its normal. The app developers also stopped updating the app and moved onto the newer app which is annoying

This is just crazy. I lost 25% because of background activity on mobile data?! Please someone advise how to switch off background data on a app.
