Hi there, I have the same problem and a few others. IT IS NOTHING ELSE THEN LATEST UPDATE from Samsung that I also made. The last one, which is 6.1 Android 14. Until the update, I could charge in my car lighter from Amazon and also charger and cables from my iPhone 15 and a charger from Macbook that is 20w and cable from Macbook as well. and other certified charges and cables. THEY WERE ALL WORKING ON S23 BEFORE I MADE UPDATE. this stupid recommendation to use the original cable or charger is just stupid nonsense because it is CERTIFIED which means APPROVED AFTER ALL TESTS and it will work on any ANDROID AND SAMSUNG AND NOW ON IPHONE 15 ALSO. AND MACBOOK. ALL WITH C-PORT!!!!! Now after the update even with the ORIGINAL BLACK CHARGER FROM SAMSUNG 25W AND the ORIGINAL CABLE IT CHARGES AND STOPS NOT COMPLETING CHARGING!!!!

I WORK WITH PHONES OVER 20 YEARS, AND IT IS ALWAYS SOME PROBLEMS WITH SAMSUNG UPDATES because Samsung always rolls out updates without completely checking them and testing them. What Samsung does is rush with updates and then we users get a million stupid problems and we report them and Samsung then makes updates and corrects them, MAKING US FRUSTRATED AND MOVING TO IPHONE which I already did, actually two weeks ago. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS and I am just thanking the EU for forcing Apple to make an update for IOS so that in the future we will be able to download apps on iPhone from ANY MARKET STORE and not just the Apple store. After that, I promise you no one will want ANDROID ANYMORE because you will get the best of all from both worlds, all Android apps on iPhone and all Apple fluidity and high quality on iPhone and much more. I was a faithful customer of Samsung from NOTE 2 and sold so many Samsung convincing people that is better than the iPhone. But unfortunately, is not enough anymore to give a cashback of 100 or 150 on a new device, and think that will make us more to keep buying Samsung and to continue using Samsung.NO!! That is not enough. I want more. I want a phone that will not make me frustrated, without draining my battery over and over, without overheating, without constant notifications for downloading new stupid software that is not good anyway, I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TURN THAT OFF AND CHOOSE ON MY OWN, and I could write another 30min about all the small stupid things that Samsung is not fixing and making better but doing over and over same mistake but that is just wrong politic of Samsung and in next few years, especially in Europe, mark my words they will loose big time from Apple. thank you European Union and God help you Samsung. 

so SAMSUNG PLEASE MAKE UPDATE TO CORRECT YOUR MISTAKE ASAP !!!!!!! THANK YOU

Yep.  This is what big tech does when they roll out or rush out a bad product to compete with other brands before CES.  they have repeatedly denied its a malfunctioning device altogether,  and the 4 updates I have been forced to endure as well make it worse.  So their answer was to roll out the S24 and are now using a tactic known as decommissioning the S23 by repeatedly forcing so call patches and security updates but what it actually does is removes features,  makes some worse all in an effort to frustrate customers into just buying the S24.  There is a way to no longer have to take the updates, but that's another talk show!  I refuse to install any future updates.  The last one I did produced another the day after yet nothing that users behave been complaining about has ever been fixed on the S23 Ultra since it's inception.  Do not install the updates.  They will destroy the phone since they can't find a fit for it and aren't trying. Be very wary of corrupt updates.  This is an IT tactic that has existed since the 90s.  It's not you it's them.  This product should have been refunded and or replaced.  So once again I went to the authorities because I'm paying for a malfunctioning device bmvis my carrier and I'm going to get every penny back.  Sorry samsung, you lose this time!  Done

I have a brand New S24 plus and I did the update a week ago. My chargers do no work either. They keep saying I have water or debris in the charger. I took it to places and everyone said they can't work in it because it  has been wet. This is not true. I went on the web and found other people had issues and to do a hard shut down and I did and then my phone charged again for at least a week. Now out of the blue it is doing the error message where it won't charge again. This is a brand new phone I am so frustrated from the update that it MADE me do. They need to fix this fast. The worst part is Samsung wants me to send the phone in so I won't have for 10 days. It is brand new and their issue but I have to be without my phone for 10 days. I hate Samsung and will never buy another one.

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 to version 6.1 and have since encountered significant issues with its charging and battery life. The device now charges at a considerably slower rate and experiences rapid battery drain. For instance, the battery level dropped from 40% to 25% in less than 10 minutes. This issue was not present prior to the update. I kindly request that Samsung address and resolve this problem as soon as possible.
