After the update, I have several apps that are not updating. All with the same error message. Reboot doesn't work. Any help, please?

A workaround has been found by a member and has posted here in the thread.

Summary

"To anyone who still has a work profile (or is willing to test it):
If you go to "Security and Privacy" > App Security > app protection, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner > App protection settings > disable "auto scan when installing apps", does this work for you?
Even with work profile, I seem to be able to update and download again."

Thank you Joost88!

Update: 6 Nov

No reply from Samsung several weeks later, really bad form. The post says resolved; I didn't change the status as, in my opinion, the issue isn't resolved - it's a workaround not a fix.

I am unsure if I will upgrade to S25 now.

Support suggested the below simple thing to do. I think it worked as I managed to install app that was not installed before due to the issue.

go to Settings > Device Care > App Protection.
* Tap the three-dot menu in the top right and turn off "App Protection".
* Wait for about 5 seconds, then turn it back on

Looks similar to the one suggested by another user but accessed via another different steps. The other user's suggestion worked for me only when App protection was off. This new way works with App protection on.

Can confirm the problem also on S24 . After disabling app protection Installation works. Problem also on a fresh installed device.

This worked for me. I thought I was going to have to restore factory settings.

Since the last update on my S23 the same issues started with installing or updating Apps with Google Play Store. The fixes, provided on the Google link in message, don't help at all.
Also, a work profile is active on my Phone
Disabling the "auto scan when installing apps" was resolving my issues.
Thanks for the quick fix on this!

Unfortunately this is still a temporary solution as today I had 4 falid updates. To install I had to switch off the protection. Going back to support.

This is a never ending process. For each update, it need to be disabled. Not sure on the impact and security, but certainly not a scalable.

When i get failures, I can press the retry icon next to the app, and it updates fine. Still with the protection turned on. If you need to turn it off every time, that's a heck of a pain!

My work profile does not allow me to change this setting.

My problem is with 6.1!

My phone downloaded 6.1.1 but I always wait a few days before installing this new software because of bugs reports, and there was/is a camera bug so I did not install. Then a new update was ready to be installed, it was 6.1 security patch. I am rwally sure I do not have 6.1.1 installed but the strange thing is I do have AI and other features which should be available only in 6.1.1 (if I am not mistaken). Anyways....I have the problem with not installing the apps but when I retry once or more times it works. Never had this before though!
