50MP Photo Camera Processing

I have an S23 plus and using more than  1 year.I bought this phone for huge expectetion. Unfortunately, the Xz premium device from 4 years ago is of better quality than this. Everyone complains that this device Processing in 50 MP mode, but Samsung does not provide any support.Samsung urgently needs to give a major update to this device.As long as you can't fix the camera yet, what will happen if you update it for 5 or 10 years? The phone sold as a flagship has worse photo quality than Chinese phones.

The best device of a brand fails the most important criterion such as camera problem. It's as much of a fiasco as the battery problem. It would probably be like you said.😀

Samsung have dropped a ball with cameras on S24 Series and the S23 / S23+.

They have lost sight of what good photography looks like.

We are only a couple of updates in for the S24 Ultra and I'm hoping for improvements in the zoom but I'm not optimistic and sadly if that is the case it will be my last Samsung device. They chose to downgrade the camera in my view.

That said, the non zoom camera is very good.

I wonder what they are trying to do with this zoom image cropping, the AI processing and phone's own processing, the AI processing of zoomed pictures, the overall processing of every single picture; why obliterating good and performant hardware camera with software unnecessary processing and why it's so hard to let go and let the camera work it out for itself, people were very happy with previous Samsung photography of older generation phones that were working naturally. 🤷 ♀️

Not sure about you @Star_girl but I find it better taking a photo without zoom and then using the software on the device after the picture has been taken to then zoom in. It is far clearer that way than half the Camera Zoom.

Samsung have a lot of work to do on zoom.

I have tried that, but the zoom in of a far away object is not giving the same closeness as you would be able to see when using the actual 100x zoom and that zoom looks similar in lack of detail as the actual zoom anyway. I tried and at least that's what I saw. I hope it's going to get fixed, the last updates fixed it a little bit, but it needs a bit more fixing.

But you are right, camera without zoom and until you try to use the max Zoom, actually takes very beautiful pictures.

Problem is, you can only use 100x zoom on 12mp.

Why not on 50mp or heaven forbid the headline grabbing 200mp?

You may be right.

But Samsung need to get to the bottom of this because the noise about poor photography on S24 Series has been excessive.
