I am using Chrome as my browser, in case that's important. And I've tried numerous chargers, as a test, with no improvement.
Anyway, when I plug in my charger, Google or YouTube keep on opening on their own with random websites filled with ads. I've spent hours researching this problem and all of the solutions so far have not helped to solve this issue.
I keep seeing the below suggestion, which is confusing to me because my S22 doesn't have anything that says: Battery and device care. It only says Battery which leads to everything but the below options.
Settings > Battery and device care > Device protection > Scan phone
Please help as I'm trying to solve this without having to reset my phone.

From everything I have read It was created during the last UI7 update

Are you referring to the procedure on where to find this? I got it from the origonal poster here. i dont know how they found it. Bit however this power thing was created on my phone is a mystery. I would plug my phone it to charge and it would immediately open a browser window and take me to a website called bmi-focus.com or some other weird website. It also would open a YouTube window and take me to craft videos. It was terrible in my truck when it would be on the wireless charger and the truck would bounce and the charge would connect and disconnect it would open up 20 windows by time I got to my destination.

It was under "Routines" on my phone! If you click on the routines you'll fine more about them. This one highlighted was set to launch "https://bit.ly/push200508" every time I plugged it in after a specific time at night. BOOM!! Gotcha sucka!!! It didn't make sense that it wouldn't do this to me throughout the daytime, only at night...now it DOES make sense!!
I'm also guessing that some apps are doing this when you install them, because I FOR SURE didn't do this to myself! 😂 It may be coming from one of those annoying extra games/apps that get automatically installed after a forced software update.

Do you think there is any specific app or website that might have caused this?
This hasn't happened to me yet.

Exactly my problem. In the routine the direction was to open the sketchy site. Super annoying!!!

I tried the previously mentioned tips with no success. Nothing was showing up and no malware found.
Then, on a whim, went through my apps and Uninstalled every game I'd downloaded, all from the App store, including Majong, word searches, and crosswords. Have no idea which one was the culprit, but that fixed it.
From now on, I'll check for this issue after an individual download so I'll be able to identify the culprit should the issue arise again.

Someone mentioned that it came from the latest update. But I had also installed some terrible games recently also. So I'm not sure but this fixed corrected my issue.

Thank you so much. I've been having an issue where if my phone is below a certain battery percentage and I put it on the charger it would open google to a bunch of ads. Also did it in safe mode I went to Modes and Routines and Routines to find there was a set routine to open a link when the battery is less than 50% and plugged up.

Its incredible that these malicious sites or what have you were able to do this.
