Hi all,
I'm just after updating my Samsung S22 to the latest OS (pushed by Samsung), and the device is in a boot loop.

I'm very frustrated with what I'm finding on the internet about it, and not sure which options I have at this stage.

Locked out of my phone, struggling with payments, flight schedules and communication in general.

Poor from Samsung!

Hi all
I'm replying to my own post with a solution
Restarting the device in Safe Mode (link below) and allowing a new OS update to download fixed the issue. 😉

I can't even start in safe mode, just won't break loop.  It will then randomly fully boot but after hours.

I'm at my wits end!

I tried the safe mode, but it opened on the same "Welcome One UI 7.0" with a "Start" button on it mode. I can't use my phone.

All I can see is the Galaxy AI Advance intelligence and so on with other features. I clicked on "More", the screen drags down to "Next" button and the same loop begins. How do I resolve this issue??

This happened to me as well last night. Started with the phone randomly restarting by itself earlier in the week, and suddenly disconnecting wi-fi. Now it restarted again last night, but got stuck in a boot loop of the samsung galaxy boot screen for about an hour before finally turning off.

I managed to start the phone in safe mode for back up and will try a factory reset.

I have the newest firmware, and the issues didn't start until the june 2025 One UI 7.0 update. So updating the firmware does not seem like a solution for me unfortunatly.

I can confirm that factory reset does not solve the problem. After about an hour of setting up the phone after the full reset, the same issue started again...
