Tried to use trade in today to buy s22,  paid and then had a email to say my order is cancelled. But the payment is pending in my bank ???

Your bank will have gated off the funds awaiting for Samsung to collect.

If Samsung don't collect then the funds would drop back into your available funds in approximately 5-7 days allowing for the Weekend and Bank Holiday Monday @MGuer

Screenshot the email and email or live chat your bank, some will reverse it early

Was you trying to buy it outright or monthly payments

Outright 569, with 200 trade in

Not sure then as you wouldn't of been subject to credit
