After the last update two days ago on the Galaxy S22, the device stopped blocking browsing in airplane mode and the battery also runs out within a few hours.

I found a solution. If you select airplane mode and then turn on wifi, the device remembers the situation and next time it will leave wifi on and vice versa. But the issue of the battery running out very quickly is still unclear.

In regards to the battery appearing not to last as long @Side navigation ypu can try this generic troubleshooting step.
- Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
And take a look in your Device Care Section under Battery to see what apps are using your battery.
