Swipe up gesture issue

Hi.

Yesterday I did the Android 13 Update on my S22 and noticed an issue which is driving me crazy. I have swipe up gestures enabled with the back button on the right and the recent apps screen on the left. Since the Update it often happens that when I swipe on the right to go back, it opens the recent apps.

I've tested it a few times and noticed that it only happens when not swiping straight up. It only happens when going slighty to the left and up but this is the normal motion with my thumb.

Theres already a thread on reddit where other people noticed the same thing.

Did anyone here have the same issue? I hope it gets fixed because it is really annoying 😞

I can confirm problem with my S21+ device after android 13 update. It is really frustrating and should be fixed Asap.

Been having the same issue myself.

Found a way around it. Go to Settings>Display>Navigation Bar, under Swipe Gestures press "More Options". Under Gesture Sensitivity move the slider up to increase the sensitivity.

Might not work for everyone but it did the trick for me.

I was using gestures in Android 12 and I had hidden the navigation buttons from the screen. The phone was both very useful and had more space on the screen.

Yesterday I upgraded to Android 13 and One UI 5.0. I'm so sorry right now! Gestures works really badly. In particular, I can hardly do the backward movement. When trying to go back, my finger touches the bottom of the app and it gives ridiculous reactions.

Fix this abomination immediately!

My device is Galaxy S10 Lite.

My gallaxy s22, bought a week ago, screenshot with palm won't work. I am definitely sure I haven't miss any of the settings.
