Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone has found a fix for this. Spen won't work at all. I disable air actions and take the pen out and it shows inserted. Can't seem to fix it. Reseting spen and device hasn't worked. I even tried reseting the phone to factory. Still the same.

If you took the pen out and the phone says the pen is still in, there's probably a problem with a sensor in the phone.

There's a little switch inside your phone that detects the pen. Seems that isn't working correctly for you

Thanks for the comment. I had to replace the back on this phone as it was cracked. It had an idea to unplug and replug the small spen cables inside the phone for the digitizer and charging housing. But even that didn't seem to fix the issue

Inside the phone is a sorta waterproof tunnel where the pen lives. A little bit inside from the hole is a sorta lever. It gets flipped when the pen is in, then flipped the other way when you pull it out. Either it's stuck or the electrical connection has an issue

Interesting. Is this piece you're referring to in this video at all:

At 6.18 the spen tunnel is dismantled

Look at 6:50 at the white thing on the right. That should line up to the notch on your pen, meaning I believe that's the detection switch.

Seems the s22 ultra is actually different than I thought. Older S series devices had the switch super close to the hole, if you put the pen in backwards it'd get stuck and locked inside. Guess they fixed it by moving the switch really far up

I see. When I put the pen in slowly. I could feel it grab just before the push to fully click the pen in. I presume this is when those sides align with the inside. Although I'm baffled at why this just thinks my pen is still inside when it's not as there doesn't seem to be any resistance when putting in and out.
