Ok, so I've been noticing this recently and it's becoming more obvious. When I play YouTube videos or any videos on my S22 Ultra the audio is always a little late or further ahead than the person that's speaking on the video. It's much worse on my Galaxy Buds pro. Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm on the newest update with the ability to disable the game optimization service.
Just for an update
This issue no longer happens to me. Its been patched from what I know.

I haven't on my phone @Vbg however if you perform a forum search you'll find existing threads on this subject.

One possible solution is a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Same here. But regardless if you play video Connected to Bluetooth speakers or Phone audio.

super frustrating! This will be my last ever Samsung device, Had every flagship phone, but this is worse than an entry level phone! When you pay premium, you expect premium. Not workaround this, fix that yourself,… . Deplorable battery life (light use), buggy like there is no tomorrow,… it’s like they never made a phone before.

Samsung, you have one last chance to redeem yourself, and fix this phone! Asap! Not in a “next update”, whenever that may arrive,… probably after two more months if you’re lucky 😕 or this will end up secondhand, and will never return to any Samsung product ever again!

Yes, particularly when watching YouTube. I turned on developer settings and changed the Bluetooth audio codec to be the AAC option, but any of the option except Scalable Codec work, it seems to be the Scalable Codec that causes the lag in the audio.

i agree.. I bought this s22+ phone with such a happy heart and thought of using it for next 3,4 years atleast..
But it's a total disaster.. I had to return the 1st phone due to severe connection problems to internet.. took 20 days to replace..
now this new phone audio video is out of sync, gets warm, drains battery faster, fingerprint almost never works on 1st try.. Getting sick of the problems already..
I guess I expected too much and pre-ordered it and now I am regretting it..
A 1130€ flagship phone should not have such problems..
Even my Galaxy A52 works much ìmuchhhhh better than my new s22+ 😞

hey I just got off the phone with samsung and they fixed the issue for me as it stands

essentially this sounds so stupid but after doing so much to fix it (which didnt work) he told me to factory reset, and if that didnt work I should turn itt in. So I did that, a hard reset, redownloaded my backup data, played a video and its been working perfectly so far.

Hope this helps evweyone because the audio not syncing basically removes 50% of the phones usability. For me at least :smiling-face:

Hi all!

I've had my phone for less than a week and I'm noticing when using video apps such as youtube netflix snapchat etc the audio and video are not syncing up, and when they do the video quality is choppy and glitching (especially with playing back stories on snapchat and Instagram). Its even glitching when it comes to random popup ads, so it has me thinking its a general video playback problem. Its happenin regardless if I connect audio via Bluetooth speakers, normal phone audio, or using my headphones.

Anyone having similar issues and know how to fix it?
