I've been waiting for this to see if it gets fixed for 2 weeks now since I acquired my s22 ultra exynos model. I've googled and there's another thread on this form where someone talks about this issue and a lot of people are revolted about it going as far as returning their s22 exynos because of it : https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s22-series/s22-ultra-exynos-lag/td-p/4893527

Now I know that is a s22 but the same issue is present in my s22 ultra and the same issue in the thread posted above people have.
I was hopping I'd find an answer or a solution for a couple of days now as I've been checking this forums and the web. Before the GOS update I thought it was the GOS fault but now that we can turn the GOS off, it seems more clear to me that what you said may be the case...a compatibility issue ? Or an update required from Twitter ? I really don't know...I was just hopping that all this talk about it would make samsung fix the issue. It's really annoying to pay 1400euro on a device and experience lag like that in one of the main apps you're using daily.
In the showed thread one of the persons used the developer mode to monitor their CPU usage and it shows that the CPU skips to like 96% when scrolling through the app...I don't know who's to fix this issue here...samsung with an update or the twitter app needs to be updated for the s22 exynos ?

To be honest I'd leave the GOS on for most games but only for the most demanding maybe turn it off. Made a huge difference when playing Fortnite.

But genereally its not recommended for long gaming sessions, performance will drop anyway and it uses more power thus heats up the phone too
