Hi there,

Smart Switch worked fine to clone my old Huawei to my new S22 Ultra. But Smart Switch does not connect with my S22 Ultra on my Macbook Pro M1 Mac OS Monterey 12.2.1.

I tried for hours and changed all the required settings on my MacBook (enabled and allowed system extensions as it is shown here in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOrANuPJH_k)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is there any third party software which works reliable? How do you backup?

I found a workaround. Smart Switch works on Apple M1, Mac OS Monterey 12.2.1. when installing Parallels 17 and Windows 11. It just finished my first backup through Smart Switch.

However, it would be much easier (and for free) if Smart Switch would work on M1 devices. Parallels costs 80 Euros/year or 100 Euros one time (without future updates).

Parallels is the solution for backups on Apple M1Parallels is the solution for backups on Apple M1
