Hi @crashthomo Like @IndiW I think the easiest methods are via the Palm Gesture and Bixby. just ensure Palm Gesture is switched on in Settings. Go to Settings-Advanced Features-Motions and Gestures-Palm Swipe to Capture. Simply swipe the edge of your Hand across the screen. You can also do it via the Edge Panel where you will find the Take screenshot icon.

Personally in my edge panels I have the tasks edge downloaded which has a take screenshot option.
i.e
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hello! I'd be happy to help you with taking a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy S22.
It's possible that the method you tried, which is pressing the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously, may not have worked due to a software setting or issue. Here are some other methods you can try:
Method 1: Using the Side key and Volume down key
- Navigate to the screen you want to capture.
- Press and hold the Side key (the button on the right side of the phone) and the Volume down key (the button on the left side of the phone) simultaneously.
- Hold the buttons until you see a flash animation or hear a sound, indicating that the screenshot has been taken.
- The screenshot will be saved to the Screenshots folder in your Gallery app.
Method 2: Using the Palm swipe gesture
- Navigate to the screen you want to capture.
- Go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Palm swipe to capture.
- Make sure the switch is turned on.
- Swipe the edge of your hand across the screen from right to left or left to right.
- You will see a flash animation or hear a sound, indicating that the screenshot has been taken.
- The screenshot will be saved to the Screenshots folder in your Gallery app.
Method 3: Using Bixby Voice
- Navigate to the screen you want to capture.
- Say "Hey Bixby" or press and hold the Bixby button to activate Bixby Voice.
- Say "Take a screenshot" or "Capture the screen."
- Bixby will capture the screenshot and save it to your Screenshots folder.
I hope this helps you take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy S22! Let me know if you have any other questions.
