Spoiler
Hi all,

I'm now scanning old photos direct on Galaxy S22 Ultra phone, including post editing of their digital images.  But the operation is performed on my desktop computer, running Ubuntu 24.04 (Linux) as OS.  (Setup - remote desktop, running "SCRCPY").  Please see attached screenshot;

It solves the problem of the small screen on Galaxy S22 Ultra phone

It does a wonderful job.  I don't need performing post editing of the digital images on PhotoShop (Windows) nor GIMP (Linux).  But the edited digital images are saved on Galaxy S22 Ultra phone.

Is there any solution to save the edited digital direct on desktop computer?

Thanks

Regards

The phone is still doing the work but an external screen is displaying it?

You could get a small usb-c thumb drive (or equivalent usb-c adaptor for memory cards) save the files directly to this then move it over to a desktop

Or

Save the photos onto a cloud storage (Google drive / OneDrive etc) then access them on your desktop

Also, your phone has something called DeX which can simply plug into your screen to avoid your workaround.

Hi GusB,

Lot of thanks for your advice.

I have no problem copying/moving the edited digital images from Galaxy S22 Ultra phone to my desktop PC.  There are several methods working seamlessly but I have to do additional work.

I found;
How to use Samsung DeX on the Galaxy S22

Also It needs additional work.

I'm searching a solution to save the edited digital images direct on the desktop PC to a folder, specially created for this purpose.

Regards
