Hi all,

Galaxy S22 Ultra phone

I found below link on Internet:-
How to recover a deleted photo from your Galaxy phone recycle bin

I follow;
Option 1. Using Gallery app
Check your Recycle bin
Keep deleted images and videos in the Recycle bin for 30 days before they are deleted forever.

Step 1. Open Gallery app > tap Menu.
Step 2. Select Recycle bin > tap Edit.
Step 3. Select photos you want to restore > tap Restore.

But I can't  find the photos deleted one day before.  Please help.  Thanks in advance

Hi @satimis  Deleted photos/Videos should be kept in the recycled Bin for 30 days.

Have you searched in My Files as well as Google photos? Do you have syncronisation with One Drive set up or do you use any other service such as Dropbox/Amazon? Information on some here https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/buying-guides/best-cloud-storage-for-photos    Will be problematic without backups and I would recommend using both Cloud services and local storage. However possibly that may be more of a future safeguard.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Unless you've empty your recycle bin, your photos should still be available to recover as you have 30days in the recycle bin before their are emptied for good.

Hi @satimis

A good advice from @JAMES4578 you should check your back ups and check if there's any photos in Google photos, also make sure you haven't accidentally deleted these photos from your bin in galery.

Hi JAMES4578,

Those deleted photos were captured with Galaxy S22 Ultra camera not with Google camera.  I have edited them on Gallery.  Would it be a problem?  I haven't done any other actions.

Hi all,

I have tried "Trash" (please refers to attached screenshot)

I can't find the 3 deleted photos (just 2 days).  Forget it and it is solely for learning.  Those 3 photos were captured on my old photos.  I can do it again.

Thanks

Hi JAMES4578,

Thanks for your advice.

I have local storage of all my photos scanned and editted on S22 Ultra phone.  I have "Remote Access" setup, connecting the phone via an USB cable to my desktop PC.  To save the scanned digial images to desktop PC I just use Drag&Drop.  Also I can upload digital images from desktop PC to phone for editing them, using the APPs on the phone.

Yes but if you have Google photos set as a back up location, images taken with the Galaxy camera are automatically uploaded if you have a Data or wifi connection.
