Hello there,
So after updating my S22 Ultra to the new One UI 7.0, some screen glitches started appearing on my phone.
I have also seen other people reporting the same issue here (and I have also replied there): https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS23/comments/1kj3y98/glitch_flashes_on_top_of_the_screen_afew_weeks/
Here's a video I recorded with my dad's phone: https://streamable.com/997m1n
Basically, the screen will glitch with a bright white color (like a flash), in random areas of the screen. The most consistent one, is that top right corner, as shown in the video.
Sometimes it just flashes, and disappears, and some other times, it will stay there for a while, even while restarting the phone.
I have also seen the glitch appear in other places of the screen, but in those places, it just flashes, and doesn't stay there.
I haven't dropped the phone, and I'm pretty sure this is software related, considering the timing of other peoples reports as shown in that reddit post.
Anyone else facing this issue?
Looking forward for some feedback.
Thank you,
Luís

Hi, I keep getting a quick bright white flash on the screen too! I also get a random split second green flash when opening camera, hopefully Samsung will fix these issues quickly

Hi, my phone problem was gone for like a month, but it started occuring again yesterday after I updated the phone with the June Security Update earlier in the same day. So yeah, the problem is back, and I have yet to see an explanation from Samsung as this is clearly software related.
One thing is certain, if the issue stays and ends up being the reason I have to buy a new phone, it won't be another Samsung, that's for sure. This is my first flagship, pre-ordered it the day it was available, never dropped it, doesnt have a single scratch, and then problems like this happen, which are not user related, and are caused by pushed updates into the phone, which are supposed to make the phone run smoother and have better features. Ironic.

Hey again @Pranavkelaiya , I think I've found a temporary solution:
Switching to the standard screen's refresh rate (60Hz) instead of Adaptive (up to 120Hz) seems to fix the issue. To do this go into Options -> Display -> Motion Smoothness -> Standard.

After further using my phone, this fix above removes the bright bar, but the phone display is not as it should. There is color differences on the right side of the screen (yellow shows greenish). I will just end up resetting my phone to factory settings, or end up manually updating the security patches, as they are the reason for this problem.
