Live Notifications and Background Apps after June Update

Hello everyone,

After the update at the end of June, my S22 started having problems: two specific ones I've noticed so far, and some more general ones.

Generally speaking, for example, when the smartphone is locked and I press the Power button to wake up the screen, it takes about a second to turn on.

Regarding the two specific problems, one concerns opening recently used apps, where in the top right corner you see the box with "X active apps" to control background apps. Well, at least 7-8 times a day, I find Samsung's "Messages" app showing up as an active app in the background (even though it's neither receiving nor sending any text messages).

But now the most annoying one, and the one that bothers me the most given my constant use of music apps, is:

Any app that creates a notification panel for media playback (Spotify, Tidal, Samsung Music, YouTube, etc.) doesn't function as a Live Notification on the lock screen.

Let me explain: The Now Bar works. If the device is unlocked and I swipe down, there's a live notification for (for example) Spotify playing, and it works... but this notification, when I swipe down to show live notifications, doesn't work when the device is locked. The notification is there, but the time is frozen.

Example: if I'm listening to a song and I'm at 1:23, when I swipe down to see the Spotify playing live notification, I see the song counter go from 1:23 to 1:24 and stop there. The music continues... but the time is frozen... it's as if Live isn't updating... if I swipe up to dismiss Live notifications and swipe down again, the time is updated, but it freezes again. If I press pause and then play, the time updates, but it still remains frozen.

Any ideas for a fix? (After the update, as always, I wiped cache partition)

Thanks!

Do you use the Google Messages app or the Samsung Messages app? If you don't use it, just disable it.1753603798878.jpg

Turn off animations:

Settings > Developer options > Window/Transition/ Animator scale → Set to 0.5x or off.

• Check battery settings:

Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Power saving → Turn off.

Make sure all Galaxy apps and Play Store services and play store apps are up to date.

Unfortunately removing the animations changed nothing, and I'm not using Power saving mode (never use it).

All the apps are updated to the latest versions.

Thank you very much for your help! If you have other ideas, I'll give em a try
