Samsung Ultra S22 and Huawei Watch GT2

I have a pair of ear buds (Jabra but I have tried Samsung's own buds) connected to the phone and also a Huawei Watch GT2.

If a call comes in then the buds drop the connection to the phone. I can manually reconnect but sometimes they drop again or even the call goes on hold.

I have found the problem and it's the watch - if the watch is disconnected from the phone then the buds stay connected.

I have tried the Huawei watch with a Huawei phone and there is no issue.

If I stop the watch having access to the call log then it works but then I don't see who is calling.

Any idea what the fix is ?

If you have downloaded the Huawei Health App from the Google Playstore, you may as well delete it as you don't get the full functionality of the Watch. Not only that, but the connection probably is not very good.
Unfortunately the App developers have never updated it properly.
No idea why and many have said.

You will have to get the APK version of the Huawei Health App
This will require you to allow unknown sources

I had the Watch GT3, and it worked perfectly with all my android phones.
Hopefully you should have a better experience this way

I use the version from the Huawei gallery and is upto date

@dennispa Did you found any solution to this? I have the same problem. Seems like the watch is default device for calls when I have the Jabra connected.

Yes, neither samsung or huawei could help. There seems to be only one solution at the moment and trade in the huawei watch for a samsung watch 5. Must say the samsung watch is great.
