My son has done a factory reset on his S22 and we're trying to set it up for my daughter to use.

She's got as far as putting her Google account details in but it won't find her account info and just goes back to the same page.

We can't access any of the phone settings as we can't get in to it.

We've tried to do a hard reset with the power and volume keys but it won't work.

How do we move on?

@Members_xm0lXzN: As this is a public forum, I have removed the image containing your daughter's email address for data protection purposes.

When you reach the point during the set up process where you are asked to enter your Google account details, do you have the option to skip this?

Thank you for replying and removing the image.

No we can't skip the bit where you enter the details. My daughter tried to sync the phone, I'm not sure how as I wasn't at home when she did it unfortunately

@Members_xm0lXzN: Did your son remove his Google Factory Reset Protection Lock from the phone when he returned it to its factory settings? It may be worth asking him to see if he's able to enter his own Google account details at this stage to see if this helps. You should also try resetting your router, or connecting to another Wi-Fi network, just in case the problem is network related.

I did think about getting my son to enter his details but there is no way to erase my daughter's info to put his in. It's like it's just automatically there. I've even been into her Google account on her old phone and signed out of the S22 but nothing happens

I know he had to go through a lot of different pages to actually do the reset, including putting in passwords and PIN codes, so I'm assuming his account was removed
