Bought an s22 ultra through xfinity. It hasnt worked for a singular day after the first month. Doesnt matter what i uninstall, update, reset, restore or safe mode. When i sent to Samsung they didnt even seemingly look at hardware or software the phone was sent back as fine. So did they just make the phone like this? Its messed up how theyll pocket my cash and i just got left to dry with a 1200$ paper weight.

Some type of u.i. or system crash cause coanstant reboot loops wifi bluetooth and location make it more frequent. But even if i just use cell data something else is failing in the background still causing a freeze reboot loop.

@Kjulrich28: If your phone has been inspected by an authorised Samsung engineer, and no fault was found, then the issue may be stemming from a third party application that you have installed on the device. With this in mind, I recommend restarting your phone in Safe mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is being caused by an external source.

To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

With Safe mode active, monitor the performance of the device for a few hours, based on the frequency that you encounter the issue. If you find that the reboot loops no longer occur, then please restart your Galaxy S22 Ultra as you would normally and uninstall any apps that you have added to the device since you first encountered the issue. It won't be possible to determine exactly which app is at fault, therefore I recommend approaching this via a process of elimination.

Its not a 3rd party app issue. I tried safe. Even with no third party apps on a reset phone it will freeze, crash and reboot loop.

@Kjulrich28: If the issue persisted in Safe Mode, then I recommend backing up your personal data and performing a factory data reset on the phone. This will return the device to it's default factory settings, and should hopefully resolve your current performance issues. For a step by step guide on this process, please take a look at the link below.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-perform-factory-reset-on-my-mobile-device...

If the issue should persist following the factory data reset, then please get in touch with the Support Team in your region by heading to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and you can arrange for the phone to be inspected by an engineer. I appreciate that you have been down this route previously, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

I cant afford to just mail yall my only phone right now, as much as id love to cough up more money to try and keep my work on track till im physically recovered over the next few days. Yall can feel free to continue not fixing the phone and inconvienencing me after I can afford the inconvienence hopefully in the next week. I have all the faith you will do just as little to help then as has been done to this point.

@Kjulrich28: I absolutely understand your concerns. Due to the persistence, frequency and unexpected nature of your query, it is my hope that a factory data reset will resolve the issue, so you won't face the inconvenience of being without your phone while it is being inspected. If you do find yourself in the position of having to arrange a warranty inspection, you may wish to enquire about any authorised walk in locations near you, as this can help to reduce the turnaround time of the service.

Factory reset hasnt done anything to help the previous times and the walk in location recommended i mail it in after speaking with them over the phone about the issue. Thank you for all of your help in repeating the same fixes that have done nothing previously though. Ill be very excited to pay off the phone so i can just buy a refurbed iphone and use this as the paper weight Samsung intended it to be.

I’ve had my S22 Ultra for 2 years and it has never been right and crashes 10-20 times a day now. Spent over £1000 on the worst Samsung phone I’ve ever had. Uninstalled apps but don’t want to do a factory reset and start again.

I’ve had Samsung phones for over 20 years and at the point of having to pay off the last £300 on my plan just to scrap it. Will be moving to iPhone and never returning to Samsung.

My phone has plenty of memory and storage, so the issue is with the OS/phone. You should not be selling phones that are so unreliable and can crash so easily.

This is a common issue as seen by the numerous threads on the web and also have several friends who have the same issue. Don’t think this issue has ever been taken seriously by Samsung, which is shameful given the cost of the phones.
