Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Bootloop Issue After Latest Update – Anyone Else?

Has anyone else experienced their Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra going into a bootloop after the latest update? Here's what's happening to me:

After installing the newest update, my phone started getting stuck in a bootloop. It won't turn on for several hours, and when it finally does, it freezes shortly after and goes back to the bootloop. This cycle repeats constantly.

After days of troubleshooting, I realized the issue seems to be linked to the Wi-Fi. If Wi-Fi is on, the bootloop happens every time. Sometimes, the phone powers on with Wi-Fi off, but I’m unable to turn it back on.

When the phone is stuck in a bootloop, I’ve tried everything suggested: holding the volume down and power button, trying all button combinations, and following every instruction out there. None of it works.

I've also accessed the boot menu, cleared the cache, and even factory reset the phone several times. It works for a few hours post-reset, but then the same issue starts all over again.

Now, I know if I take this to the Samsung store, they'll probably suggest a costly repair, even though it’s clearly related to the update. What’s frustrating is that I’ve seen thousands of other people on forums reporting the same problem after the recent update. Yet, Samsung’s customer service doesn’t seem to be owning up to this. After paying a premium price for the phone, I doubt they’ll even offer a replacement, let alone apologize for the inconvenience.

This feels scandalous at this point. Has anyone found a solution that doesn’t involve spending more money, or is Samsung going to address this issue properly?

Looking for advice and hoping I’m not alone in this!

You are not alone in this.

My wife and I also bought a two Ultra 22,and after 2years and 24days my Samsung suddenly shut down and start with boot loop.No warranty, 24days past over and I lost everything on it.

Today, one week later exactly problem with my wife's Ultra, shut down and start with boot loop. I succeed with turning on and quickly with transferring all data to a new Ultra 24 and after transferring same happens, shutt down and start with boot loop.

I lost 2 Ultra 22 and I'm very very disappointed with Samsung.

Now we have 2 Ultra 24 and hopefully this will not happen again. If did, that will be last Samsung in our hand.

Sorry for bad English, best regards from Croatia.

My phone updated its software last week, and ever since, it's been plagued with performance issues. It crashed and restarted a few times before ending up in a bootloop yesterday. Before the update, everything was working perfectly. I attempted to access Safe Mode but had no success. I also reached out to Samsung chat support, but the representative was unhelpful and simply advised me to visit a service center. Unfortunately, the service center was equally unhelpful. I even let the battery drain completely, but now the phone vibrates repeatedly whenever I try to charge it.

Has anyone had any success booting into the OS without losing their data? Beyond the issue of planned obsolescence, I think Samsung needs to be held accountable for taking their customers' loyalty for granted. If car manufacturers can issue recalls, why not phone companies? I currently own four Samsung phones and a Samsung TV, but their customer support is worse than Google’s. I'm in Canada and if anyone is pursuing a class-action lawsuit, count me in.
