Hi @robablob
I had the same on my phone and Watch⁴ Classic when activating Google Pay.
I appreciate it's a security protocol and I'd be unhappy if unauthorised use happened, but I also appreciate how inconvenient it can be due to the locks.
For this reason I disabled Google Pay on the watch⁴, and now just use my phone to pay for items using Google Pay.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @robablob, You can keep your phone unlocked for extended periods of time using the Smart lock option. Depending upon how you set it up, it will remain unlocked as long as it is connected to a specific device or is at a specific location or detects that you are carrying it with you.
Agree that the lock should be on the app, rather on the device. Having said that, it's good to have security on the phone, just in case it is stolen or such situations where you don't want other people to get access to your phone.

What about your personal information? For what reasons Samsung decided that they can track me or my devices??? What a hell is going on with this? I never used pins or passwords during all my life and all was secured. I just will stop using this peace of ***** that makes me enter 8 characters pin to unlock my personal account and then 6 characters to unlock my work account! I don't want to put my biometric also! I want freedom!!!! We need to boycott these corporations who decide for us how to live secure!!!! They are just trying to force us to get in their digital biometric prison!
