S22U crashing, boot looping, likely WiFi related

Dear all, 

Over the last week or so I've started to have issues with my S22 Ultra (Exynos). Phone will freeze while being used, just to crash reboot on its own within 10 seconds. Sometimes it will boot loop for like 3 - 6 times, then it will start as normal.

I've noticed, that the WiFi seems to be switching off on its own, somehow affecting BT connection as well but not always. Turning WiFi off solves the problem, as I'm using my phone for last 24hrs without any issues. During my tests over last few days I was able to turn the WiFi back on and it could work for hours without crashing, but suddenly it would reboot eventually. Sometimes it crashes within seconds of turning WiFi back on.

Is this issue being looked into? It's very inconsistent, so I can't tell really if it's a hardware problem or if the last update messed something up? If it helps, I don't have any third party apps from outside official stores installed, none of the tests from Members app are showing fault, and I have not dropped my device, nor had it immersed in water.

Ok, an update, it crashed into bootloop without WiFi, but the phone was connected to the powerbank. It happens so randomly, that I can pinpoint the actual cause.

After UI 6.1 Update my S22 Ultra also got these problems

1. Reset Looping 

2. Lagging 

3. Camera Failed > Self Reset

4. System UI / One Home UI / Process System / =  not responding.

 

I tried everything to fix but none of it works. I hope they will have solutions to this soon.

Fingers crossed... My phone went into a bootloop lasting good 5 minutes yesterday, I honestly thought it's the end.

I just want this thing to last until S25U release, but if it's going to die in the meantime (and it looks this way), then I'm buying an iPhone 16 Pro. I had enough...

I felt you. Did it happen after UI 6.1 Update like mine?

I called Samsung support and they said that if I needed the mainboard replaced it would cost around 300 USD. If it's my fault I will pay instantly but I know it's not. (So many cases said UI 6.1 broke the mainboard) 

I guess I will either wait for New UI / S25U or even Iphone 16. lol

Yeah, it happened at random last week, so I was already on the latest update. I was sitting on a sofa browsing Reddit, and noticed the WiFi disconnected. Within a couple of minutes the phone crashed and got hot.

I'm not going to repair this phone. If it's not resolved by next update, I'm done with Samsung.

I am having the exact same issue, it started in the past week, like tons of others. They need to fix this!

I have the same issue! I thought im the one that phone is dying. But seems more people have same boot loops or wifi crashes. Looks like update issues. Phone is not usable, I find it restarted every hour.

Me too. My galaxy S22 ultra got the same bootloop from last Friday.

My S22 Ultra also got these problems

1. Reset Looping 

2. Lagging 

3. Wifi/Bluetooth not stable

4. System UI / One Home UI / Process System / =  not responding.
