Samsung s22 ultra constantly switching between 4G and 5G which results in network drop

from 08.09.2024, I have been experiencing sudden network drops. My phone constantly switches between 4g+ to 5g, causing the network to drop. I live in an area with full 5g coverage and was using 5g until 07.09.2024. I have tested different SIM cards in my S22 Ultra all with same results, ruling out a SIM card issue. Anyone have a solution? I have already attempted resetting the network and using Samsung Members diagnostic.

Have you spoke to your network provider? Maybe a network issue

A lot of companies share masts so it just maybe a dodogy mast

I also have network issue since August 2024 update, the sim works fine on my s24 ultra, I was not experiencing this issue before August update
I can't make or receive calls or use mobile data most of the day
The more annoying this and most horrible experience I had was yesterday when I decided to call samsung support
To my surprise they said that they will charge me 100+ for this issue, I told them this is issue is caused by system update not any damage to the phone, they insisted to that charge for fixing my phone
This is so ridiculous

Same with me. Put side by side with other samsung model, same network, my S22 has no signal at all but the cheap samsung has full bar 5g.

I think this is samsung gameplay make our life difficult & ask us to upgrade to latest phone. There is no logic explanation why this happen. All happened after updating the phone. Samsung please answer.

It's not the provider because when I switch on the flight mode and turn it off, I get back 5G again.

Being that it's keep disconnecting there could be an issue there but ita was just a suggestion
