S22 ultra WiFi calling not working

I've recently got my upgrade to s22 ultra from the s20 ultra and I'm having problems with my WiFi calling on phone app dropping off. I've spoke to my mobile provider who've told me it's not an issue on there end and most likely WiFi provider. I can't get through to them at moment but have since checked the feature whilst using my friends WiFi and its doing the exact same on hers, whenever I try to make a WiFi call it drops straight away and disconnects the call them come back on. When I had my s20 ultra I never had this issue it's just since updating to s22 ultra, has anyone else had this issue and have any suggestions, thanks 😊

Thanks appreciate your help, it's just a nightmare like I say I used my s20 ultra for 2 years on the same network with no issue and its just since I got this phone. I've been in through the WiFi calling app and cleared the data as someone suggested this and it's the same I don't know if clearing the cache might help me. Sky have been worse than useless I've spoke to 3 people with the 3rd being the most helpful and running me through a few options I even got them to send me a new sim and that done nothing.

OK have you tried the network reset? As mentioned all wifi Bluetooth network settings will be removed and your have to pair again. Not saying it will fix but all its worth a try. ?Screenshot_20220410-101055_Settings.jpg

I mean a reset of the phone would be alot and I'm not 100% that would resolve it to be honest. Sounds like you have done all if not more than asked. Assuming you have spoken to sky to see if they turn it on off?

Ah I see what you mean, unfortunately I have too much on phone to lose if I do that, yeah I'm pretty certain sky have toggled on and off their end I'll call them again and ask them to do it again

Just to confirm the WiFi calling drop in your home right? Who's your provider for your Internet?

When making theses calls how close are you to your modem? Your home modem when was the last time you power cycled it so rest turned it off ?

Its drops in my home and in my friends house, I'm really only about 3 metres from modem, I have reset it twice since having this issue to check if it was it but everything else is working off the WiFi no problem

Yeah to me looks like you have done all you can. I feel for you as the way technology advances it becomes evermore frustrating when it does not work when there is a dependency for it to. To me it has to be the network end.

It's so annoying I'm regretting my upgrade! Thank you so much for your time and help I appreciate it, I think I'll have to get back to sky and get them to try everything again and hopefully I'll get a useful person who's willing to help, have a good day and thanks again

I understand your frustration sorry I could not help further. I hope your call to SKY this time will resolve your issues. Last resort a factory reset just to rule out. Just back up your phone. Keep us posted. Have a great day.
