I've recently got my upgrade to s22 ultra from the s20 ultra and I'm having problems with my WiFi calling on phone app dropping off. I've spoke to my mobile provider who've told me it's not an issue on there end and most likely WiFi provider. I can't get through to them at moment but have since checked the feature whilst using my friends WiFi and its doing the exact same on hers, whenever I try to make a WiFi call it drops straight away and disconnects the call them come back on. When I had my s20 ultra I never had this issue it's just since updating to s22 ultra, has anyone else had this issue and have any suggestions, thanks 😊

We are having the same problem. done all of the resetting and still having massive issues. Really not a functioning phone at all. Seeing all of these responses makes me think it's time to switch from Samsung.

Is your phone showing wifi calling available then pretty much soon as call connects the WiFi calling drops off and disconnects the call? Who's your network provider?

I have since discovered that if I go into wifi calling app and clear data, force stop then restart mobile the wifi calling will work but as soon as I leave house and start moving about when I come back in the wifi calling has dropped again, obviously this isn't ideal as it's a faff everytime

I have wifi6 and when at work or home my phone doesn't work at all. I'm missing major calls and text. I think my issue is with my company because it has been ongoing since the merge. I've had a couple of devices and they all had the same issue.

I love Samsung and honestly that's all that I choose but the problems that I'm having is causing me far too many issues. I really think it's my provider because I didn't have this problem til sprint started to merge.

I can receive and make calls on my EU Galaxy S22 (SM-901B/DS), but they get dropped immediately. I've got two sim cards (2 providers), though they are on the same network (Congstar and Telekom), sometimes one of them work, sometimes both, sometimes none (currently). Haven't figured it out how to make them work yet. The only reliable option to get calls is to turn off WiFi Calling.

To make both of them work, I had to install the latest OTA update, reset APN settings and tick the APN provider for both cards. I thought I solved the issue, but now they both do not work at all via wifi call.

I also formatted system cache, no luck with that.

Before this I had a S10+ and never had any problems, even though my phone was rooted.

I'm on the newest software version S901BXXS2AVDB / S901BOXM2AVDB / S901BXXS2AVDB

My providers are saying there's nothing they can do. And to be honest, the fact that both of them worked temporarily sounds a lot like a software problem.

I also mentioned this on reddit.

EDIT: factory reset solved it. I should have been more careful debloating my phone.

I am having the exact same problem. Every phone call through wifi drops out for up to 15 seconds usually early in the call. Yes, even if I am standing next to the router. Yes, even when I have the phone in airplane mode with wifi turned back on. I am using wifi6 on 5ghz channel. I dont have any perceivable issues with my other devices. signal strength is VERY GOOD. Speeds between 750-850+mps down and 650+ up. (1gig service) Verizon Fios. I have even tried it with no other devices on the network with rebooted phone, rebooted internet, rebooted wifi router.

My wifi doesn't turn off, the call goes out or dips so I can not hear people for up to 15 seconds. It usually happens within 10 seconds of connecting and then it may happen a second time during the call.

I'm having the same problem. I just changed from a Samsung Note 10 5g and had no problems. Just got the galaxy S22 ultra and having the wifi calling not coming on or drops out if I turn the phone off and back on and manage to get wifi calling working. Never had any problem  with the note 10 in all the same situations.
