I've recently got my upgrade to s22 ultra from the s20 ultra and I'm having problems with my WiFi calling on phone app dropping off. I've spoke to my mobile provider who've told me it's not an issue on there end and most likely WiFi provider. I can't get through to them at moment but have since checked the feature whilst using my friends WiFi and its doing the exact same on hers, whenever I try to make a WiFi call it drops straight away and disconnects the call them come back on. When I had my s20 ultra I never had this issue it's just since updating to s22 ultra, has anyone else had this issue and have any suggestions, thanks 😊

Unfortunately I haven't found a fix to this it's so infuriating, I've found that if I turn wifi calling on it does work for a about a minute then the line turns terrible and i have to disconnect call and call back which obviously isn't ideal sometimes

I recently upgraded to the S22 ultra and cannot even get my wifi calling to connect. Ive tried at 6 different locations that I could always use wifi calling on my old Note 9 device and it just keeps trying to connect and never does. Getting ready to head back to AT&T. I believe this is a Samsung  software issue and they will only fix it when enough people complain about it imo!

This has been an ongoing problem with Samsung for years.  It's either an android problem or a Samsung problem but ever since switching from iPhone Samsung wifi calling has been random and a NEVER fixed  problem for me.   Today is no different than when I owned a Note5, for the first time after months of flawless service my S22 has decided that it won't do wifi calls.  I don't know why.  It did them yesterday.  But today it won't connect.  It'll hook to my wifi, but it won't engage wifi calling.

My wife's and daughter's iPhones have never done this, but both Samsung products I've owned have.   No one knows the solution.

Ultimately they all eventually go through the flow chart of troubleshooting and eventually all that is left is a factory reset.   Which is insane.   I've no idea what causes it to happen.  I wish they had a HARD set to wifi calling.  In other words, they didn't allow the phone's software to choose.  if you hit wifi calling, that's what it did.  I have no cell signal at my home, so wifi calling is my only option.   This phone is useless to me at home.

When I bought my first Samsung product a Note 5 this was a recurring problem.  No tech had a solution, after hours of frustrating troubleshooting the advice was always "try a factory reset."  I almost went back to iPhone when AT&T had the S22 Ultra offer I could not refuse.  The S22 worked flawlessly for months.  Then today 9/7/22 the wifi calling just won't connect.  Wifi WILL connect but the wifi calling will not.   My wife's and daughter's Iphones have never had this problem.

My phone also does this.  I have to restart my phone to get it to work again. Also, now my phone wifi calling won't connect.  Everyone else in the house works fine, and my hubby has the exact same phone.  I think it is an issue with the sim card maybe.  Going to phone store today.

Same issue here.. Just updated the firmware via OTA update pushed by Samsung, and now my S22 Ultra no longer will enable wi-fi calling. I throw the option switch and it just sits there and never enables. Have reset the phone and many setting and the issue persists. The update broke it.

Does anyone know if the factory reset corrects the problem?
