Since today, I'm experiencing touch screen issues on my device. There's a horizontal strip (around 0.5 cm thick) spanning the full width of the screen that doesn't respond to touch properly — sometimes it doesn't register input at all, and other times it triggers random touches on its own.
I updated to One UI 7 about five days ago, but I'm not sure if this is a software-related problem or a hardware issue.
So far, I've already:
Wiped the cache partition
Performed a full factory reset
Unfortunately, the issue persists.

Go to Settings > Security and privacy > turn off Auto Blocker.
Then go to your phone and dial *#0*#.
This should open a menu; open the screen test- does all the screen work ("touch")? If not- hardware issue
Attempt a soft reboot- holding power and volume down. If the line still remains- may be time to contact customer support for a repair

Already tried all of that, including diagnostics through Samsung Members.
Since the phone is no longer under warranty, I’ll probably go through my personal insurance for the repair.
