Mine is restarting while still in booting. So it's not functioning to be able to turn off or on anything.

Best option is for you all to contact Samsung Help and tell them you want a call back from someone that can explain what has happened.
I've had the same issue with the wifi freezing out then the phone going into bootloop for ages, eventually it stops.
They said they will give me 15% off a new device, told em no chance.
Sent the phone off and they've asked for £400+ to fix or £15 to?!?

All of you who are experiencing this issue, can you check which processor your device has? Is it Snapdragon or Exynos? I'm wondering if the problem occurs only on Exynos. To check your processor, simply install the CPU-Z app from Google Play and go to the "Device" tab. The Exynos processor is labeled as s5e9925 there.

Mine was snapdragon, the device is dead now so cannot investigate further, but i used cpu-z when i had the device to check the cpu type
