Hi all, I got the phone last week, since then I couldn't have a decent conversation with it, signal drops all the time but I have full bars, Internet drops in the same time, I cannot listen to a full song on YT, if I'm on Bluetooth with the headsets, Bluetooth connection drops too, basically I have all the problems that are being reported all over Internet with this phone. Airplane mode/restart fix it for a while then it happens again. The rest of the phone is really realty great, I still vahe time till the end of the month to switch to a different phone but I really hope I'll keep this one. Is there any news that this will be fixed by an update or the phone is just rubbish and there's no hope? Cheers

P.S. even now when I tried to post this I lost the connection

So small update, the network reset didn't help. When I switch to my second SIM card (different operator) the problem is gone, data and voice are working correctly. I am not using eSIM. I tested the phone in multiple locations/cities but the problem still remains.

2 days ago I've got a new SW update so I am curious if that will help. So far it seems like it helped, the mobile network signal is stable, but I need more time to see if the problem was really fixed.

My SW now: Android 13, Baseband: S901BXXU2BVKB, Build: TP1A.220624.014.S901BXXU2BVKB

I've been having network problems since I bought the phone directly from Samsung back in March, I had pre ordered the phone in February. I had been blaming network issues on the provider but have since found threads like this that state its the phone so I tried my sim back in my S20 ultra and network was perfect which confirmed it is the phone. Has anyone had this issue sorted yet? Wish I'd tried sorting this sooner as I'd have tried for a refund, paying £1400+ for a top spec phone that's rendered useless at times is frustrating 😡

Oh wow, this network issue is still going on!?!
I had these same issues when I bought the galaxy s21. They didn't acknowledge it back then and still won't now, see thread below;

https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s21-series/s21-poor-signal-strength/td-p/2951550

I stumbled across this thread and feel compelled to write this. In my experience, if any of you have this issue send the phone back immediately while you still can, it is a hardware issue with the phones antenna which cannot be resolved with a software update.

Posting my thread on here didn't get me anywhere (clearly, as they haven't listened or changed the antenna hardware) so please do yourselves a favour, instead of posting the issues on here, plaster them all over social media.. it's the only way you'll get Samsungs attention (bad press = bad reputation, bad reputation = bad sales).

Hopefully, if enough people do this Samsung will have no choice to either confirm it's an issue or redesign their future phones.. fleecing loyal customers good money for a sub par phone can't continue!

So, please plaster, plaster, plaster all over social media.. let's get Samsungs attention 👀

Exactly the same problems on my side. Multiple SIM cards, and even replaced the motherboard, under warranty.

Problems remain. Not sure where to go from here.

It may or may not be related, but voice calls on Signal are impossible (on wifi or mobile data).

I bought an S20 ultra 5g this year which has this problem too.  I purchased it 2nd hand and didn't realise the extent of the issue until the 30 day return was up. So its out of warranty, cant be returned and I have to pay for any repairs or checks. I never expected it to be such a useless phone considering how much it cost and how it is still a relatively new model.  (I thought I was trading up!!). The issue is, it connects to a sim provider's network for a few moments then drops out displaying 'emergency calls only' or 'no service' and when it does connect it has problems registering on the providers networks.  I work in London, surely you'd expect a decent signal there! I swap the sim cards (EE, GiffGaff, Vodaphone, O2) to my S10 and they always connect up straight away and work perfectly. I've tried every online fix many times, including multiple factory resets, no use. Checked mmc and mac settings, no problems, Sim card tray replacement, no use. The Samsung drop in repair centre tested the phone with software and said there was an issue with the motherboard. They quoted a replacement motherboard cost which is more expensive than the phone itself and dont guarantee that it'll fix the issue anyway. They offer a pittance trade-in  and encouraged me to buy one of their newer models on display. The  cheapest was £1300 - Hah! Buy another Samsung after this one?? I think not.

So I paid for the motherboard to be checked out by a Samsung motherboard  expert I know, who said they are not easy to examine microscopically, because the circuit board is a type of folded over design in the later Samsung models. He could find no obvious circuit breaks or faults on the motherboard, but he fitted a new motherboard that he had for this model for me, just to see what happened. Well, within seconds, the new motherboard did exactly the same as the original one. It connected for like 15 seconds then dropped out.  So we installed 2 new antennas just in case it could be those, then various new connections just to try and eradicate it as a hardware issue. That was no use either.

The phone is draining me. Did I just say 'phone'? It's not. It's just a very very expensive camera. The same issue exists for the sS21 and S22 from numerous threads I have read. Samsung are happy not fixing what they must know is an issue, either with a whole batch of cheaper modems/faulty motherboards/ bad software that they've used.  Who knows??? Only Samsung it would seem. And they are not admitting it.

On my Galaxy 22 ultra phone, the network signal on both sims now keeps fluctuating. I'm so frustrated. I came here in hopes of a found solution. Will there likely be an update to correct this anomaly? I have suspected all manner of things but apparently, it's just the phone thing.

I have tried two new ones. One of the first of the year and a second recently. Hoping that the glitches were finally fixed. Both phones had the same exact problems. Network in and out, low signal when it only had high, No signal at all, etc

I've tried two new phones at different times of this year. Both had the same problems.
