I have bought 2 512GB S22 Ultras.
I see others have had issues with their Exynos S22 Ultras; however I cannot even use the workarounds they have used for some relief from the MAJOR bugs this thing has: laggy, fast battery drain, lack of options/features. This is straight out of the box, brand new. When I tried to restore my info from Google, it says my phone is a note 10+...
There's literally no option to change vram or any of the other fancy options I see others have...
Edit: Also it says I have the latest update version, so that's not the issue...
I have done a factory reset, to no avail. I am unable to get into the menu to wipe the cache. When I follow the instructions it doesn't do the boot as I've seen on YouTube videos, it goes straight to a 3 option boot menu. Trying to go into recovery mode doesn't even work.
After trying again, the phone is stuck on the 3 option menu at "FASTBOOT mode" it won't even turn off now!
The phones are unusable!
There has to be some help or some way to fix this. Do I need to change the firmware completely or something? Because it seems the software I have isn't even on the level of that which others with the problems have...

Checking the IMEI number on this site https://www.imei.info/
Says that it is an invalid IMEI. It is clear that this is not a bona fide S22 ultra.

Yeah, I bought them from a retail phone seller, not an official Samsung store or even ebay. Lesson learned. I'm going to see what all I can do to remedy this tragedy.
Thank you all for your help, and even the jokes! Hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake as well and avoid this headache.

That's a very good question. I stand agains counterfits and i help and support all and any effort to kill counterfits. My position is non-negotiable. On this point, Samsung, if i know of a counterfit, i will report them with the secret little hope permanently kill the counterfit operations.
Ali Express is full of S22 Ultra couterfits.
following this lineof thoughts, i always buy things from the respective stores Xiaomi bike pump from Xiaomi Store, Philips tv from Philips store, samsung phone from samsung store, Lenovo computer from Lenovo store.... ....you get the idea. this is how i deal with counterfits.
still following, it is possible that other people with issues, also have devices from unknown sources?

Just to add some more info on these now obviously bogus phones... I downloaded "Device Info HW" to see what's going on under the skin... sigh.
Besides these things running Android 7.0, the MT6580 being the cpu was a big letdown... I don't even know if it'll take a flash of Android 12!
Once again, let this be a lesson. "Measure twice, cut once" "Caveat Emptor"

Really annoys me 🤬 when a person has been scammed into thinking their getting a bonified real Samsung phone with their hard earned cash but then receive a clone and very poor one's at that !
I notice it has 2Gb of Ram too. 😤
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

As i expected - counterfits.
Well this is why i do not buy from shady sources.
My advice to you is always go to the source. you want Philips? go to Philips store, you want Xiaomi? Go to Xiaomi store, if you want Samsung, go to Samsung store.
