strange, i never had this issue. all i can advise you is to enter the recovery menu and perform the following steps in this exact order:
1. Wipe device cache to remove all old caches your app might get tangled with.
2. once the cache is cleared, select to repair your apps. your phone will reboot and you will see the optimizing apps screen. during this stage the apps create fresh copies of all of their caches.
when this stage finishes, your phone will continue to boot and boot to normal every day use mode. this is a good time to test your gps. if it fails again, download a gos repair utility, to delete old gps/a-gos data, reset your gps and download fresh gps/a-gps data. This should fix your gps. if gps fail again, return the device for warranty service/warranty replacement.

@Krisalex79 which hardware platform does your S22 have - Exynos or Snapdragon?
In case you have Snapdragon, you are lucky. I have Exynos 😫

Equinox? Do you mean Exynos?
update within 15 days is modestly spoken unreasonable demand. we are in this situation because of unreasonable demands like this. not enough tome to test and develop the software to a stable release.
Also are you able to comprehend that it is absolutely impossible to produce and test as reliable this much devices for one month. Also Qualcom's snapdragon has its own issues. basically it is the new x2 4mn core that both processors share in the middle of the issue. basically running arm- v7 and arm-v8 apps and os of arm-v9 processor, will take some time to optimize. the hardware. once samsung optimizes their android and one ui, is not over, now the app makers world wide need to optimize their apps too. we are all here because we gave a ton of money, for flagship device, which fails to perform as such. if youbwant to be the big hero of the day, provide a reasonable report of your issue, provide proof of issue, hardware platform (exynos or snapdragon), curren one ui, patch level of one ui, which is the failing application and the version of the failing application. People here will help you, if you show proper polite behavior.

i am using the Exynos based version, and it is not as bad. i am running the April 1st patch for my phone. This is the latest available for my device. if issues are persistent try repair or replacement under warranty service.
it is true it is true that i still consider the Exynos version inferior, to Qualcom's snapdragon, but samsung are moving in the correct direction

i am also on Exynos. by the way, people here, gave the advice about clearing the system cache, repairbthe apps from the recovery menu, and "repair the gps" by using gps repair utility to delete the gps/a-gps data, resetnthe gps and download fresh new gps/a-gps data. so calm down and try the advice i have given you.

I will tell you something, Krisalex79. I am working in areas where I rely a lot on the GPS signal and on the battery life. If these two properties are problematic, I am in trouble.

Can you please send me a link to these advices?

I have offered helful advice, compiled in easy to follow steps in their proper and exact order to apply the steps. You have chosen to ignore it. If you have diffculties following steps, what exactly needs to be done, say so, i will be far more willing to assist further. I admire people who take actions, and i respect people who have the strenght to admit they cannot do it and ask politely for more help. About others, I have nothing else to say. Make your choice. Its your choice, just don't drag me trough the wrong choices.

i have collected these steps, when i asked for help it this thread, following this thread, when the issue was in discussion, while Samsung was still working on the issue, before the patch being releasd. basically my advice is compiled by combiming steps i have seen in different posts, in this thread's development, posted by more experienced and helpful people, Kudos to them. all you need i to follow the thread from beginning to end, and you will get it all - what is recovery mode, how to enter recovery mode, how to wipe the old caches, how to repair the apps....
to be honest, after i applied the patch i also had some remaining issues. helpful people suggested to me these steps in random posts. because i received help, now i share helpful advice. so calm down. no one hates you, no one flames you, but sooner or later you will have to do somethig about it.
and yes, if i am given a choice between TCMS produced snapdragon or Samsung produced Exynos, i will take the snapgragon faster than a blink on an eye, and never look back to exynos.

Hello again @Krisalex79 . As you advised, I calmly set down and followed the offered 6 steps for trying to resolve the phone issues. This where the steps:
That should have been enough, but it did not resolve the GPS issue.
I have installed GPS Essentials app and in open sky it simply cannot locate reliable satellite signal. So, now I think I did all the necessary steps (and wasted time) to verify that my S22 Ultra is piece of... and I am screwed.
