I found this all very interesting SRS76. Genuinely. It needs emphasizing though to anyone planning to overclock their S22 Ultra that these tests were conducted on the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 version. Performance gains were small to my eyes but the battery life did not seem to be affected noticeably which was a surprise to me. Hardcore gamers may find that overclocking is something they want to at least try but it is best to leave all this until your phone is fully optimized and bedded in before going down this avenue. I imagine the Exynos chip might respond better to overclocking as it seems to be set up to run slower to maintain excellent thermal properties anyway. As I said however, I would only consider going down this avenue when your device is fully optimized and fault free to begin with and your battery seems to be performing consistently. 👍
