I just bought the S22 plus phone and I use YouTube a lot. My old phone was getting notifications no problem, and the new phone isn't getting any. I went back to the Verizon store and no one was able to help me. Any help would be so much appreciated.

Not for me. I upgraded from a Note 10+ (that had youtube notifications working perfectly) to an s22 ultra. I've went through all the app and account notification settings available for YouTube and its app. Cleared cache and *tried* to uninstall it even though I could only disable.

Interesting thing is, I can enable every notification category (via app AND system settings) and none of them send a push notification EXCEPT for the notification category within the youtube notification settings "scheduled digest". This results in me getting one push notification every day at the scheduled time you can set.

did you ever find a solution for this? I've had the same issue since the S22, S23 and now the S24 has the same issue, but YouTube notifications were working just fine with the S21.

System notifications on and You tube notification setting all enabled, cache cleared reinstalled YouTube.

I've just been using the scheduled digest option too, which isn't ideal.

Never. It seems the support is non-existent.
