Phone has been OK since I had it in April. Got used to Samsungs Android OS and got over losing some features my OnePlus 6T had. I never signed in with a Samsung account due to bad experiences on previous phones but today I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic and thought why not, I should sign in to get all the benefits from the watch.
Well, the wearables app doesn't work for my S22 Ultra, gets to the Google policy review page (sometimes) and just errors after about 5mins of the icon spinning.
Thought it may be the watch but it wasn't as the watch worked perfectly with my OnePlus 6T.
As I'd signed in to Samsung I thought I would update the samsung apps from their store and now the phone is like a powerpoint presentation.
Any random app I may use as well now sometimes fails to load (no crash, no error, no popup of any kind) and it almost seems like the phone just swipes up to go the the home page. Apps are sometimes usable after a restart but it's a lottery. I think it has been dubbed "ghost touch" in other forums.
I'm left with a £1000 brick now. I'm not sure if a factory reset will fix anything. Will it uninstall the samsung app updates? Who knows. Guess I just wait for more updates from the samsung store and hope they fix it?

All was fixed without a factory reset. Resetting all app preferences in the Apps settings fixed the watch connection issues and the Watch 4 Manager issues. Just have to deal with sorting out notification settings for my apps again.
